Cat Urinating in wrong spot

My cat has a habit of peeing on my bed, she has had it ever since she was little. She only does it every so often but it is really irritating. I have had her checked for any infection and I have not changed the type of litter she uses. I'm just wondering if you have any idea for this type of behavior, could it be stress, or is she longing attention. I would just like some advice, and i'm open to anything! Thank You!

how long has this been going on? If it were me, I wouldn't let her in my bedroom anymore. Set up a nice cozy bed for her elsewhere.

This response I just wrote to another question might help (save for the medical part since your kitty did see a vet):

http://www.pets.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=17685

Is the litter box clean? Is she an only cat and has her own box? (in case of multiple cats) Multicat litter seems to work for some ppl who are bothered by the smell.

Also ,make sure the area is completely cleaned with no amonia. If it behavious, feliway or Rescue Remedy might help.
