Question dog has swollen neck

My dalmation has been acting "stiff" for the entire day today. He is a pure breed Dalmation. His tolerence for pain is very high and never "winces" or cries. Every time he went to lay down today he cried and every time he got up he cried. He will let you pet him but he acts as if it hurts. I am calling the vet in the morning but as anyone seen this before?

How old is your dog? Because if he's still a pup, it could be growing pains if everything else about him seems fine? Glad your phoning the vet though!
