One of my many strays

Here's a pic of patches. He was finally in the only house that I can see them in. The other is buried behind the yew and I can't see who is in the top or bottom bunk of that house. He normally comes out of that one from the top bunk so someone else must be in there right now.
Patches has had a rough go of it I think, but he's a lot better now. He had a badly hurt paw a while ago and it's healed nicely. His face is a little scarred, but he's plumper now, not the skinny little mess he was when he first showed up. He's even starting to talk to me, which is always a good sign. I sat out there with him for a while after I took the pic. He's mostly white with grey tabby patches all over.
I have a huge fluffy maine coon looking brown tabby that I haven't named yet now coming to stay in one of the houses, he has a twin and they're both very wild. I think the largest one is the one that only comes to eat and it's the smaller one who has taken up residence in the condo. I still have big face, although no pics of him yet. He's the roughest looking one of the bunch, not what you would call an attractive cat, but he's my favorite, probably because he looks like he's had the roughest life. He's all grey with this big flat face, chewed up ears and a really skinny tail. He'll come up to both DH and I now when we take out the food and will stand looking into the front door if the dishes are empty. He's a tough little nut and looks so much healthier than he ever has. Boots is still coming around too. He's all black with very long legs and white boots on all feet.
Sadly I haven't seen Max since early January.

clm, awww thank you for caring for these guys,Patches looks adorable...I would love to see pics of the Maine Coon and his sis,I know it's not good for them, but I find a beat up,rough Tom,very endearing, life usually shows in their faces:sad:
To win them over and hear a purr, must be a great feeling.

clm - I second chico's thanks for looking after these guys. Not many people would. Patches is sweet. Looks like he has had a few scuffles in his life with that little nose of his. It's so sweet of you and your hubby to look after these guys so well!

Thanks guys, he is a sweetie.
Just put out another 3 cans of food and another bowl of dry. That's 9 cans of food so far out there today. Cold = hungry kitties. Gotta keep those little purring furnaces stoked with fuel.
Never the same food twice in one day though.
Tried some natures variety lamb canned in one dish this morning. I don't know who got to eat it, but I checked the dishes about 15 minutes after that feeding and it was all gone.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday they get 3 or 4 feedings a day since I'm home to do it.
Just put out another 3 cans and just saw the shadow of a kittie going across the front window on their way to the dishes. Must check to see who it is......it's Patches chowing down. Big Face won't be far along now, it's starting to get dark.
