Red face Doggie Fashion Show for Growler :)

Ok, Growler, you asked for it. Now even though you may be thinking it, no one say how nuts I am, LOL! I have this weird obsession where I love the dogs to match by their collars, their collars with their harnesses, and sometimes their collars with their outfits, especially on trips!

So here's some examples from this past year.

Red harness and leash for the red and blue lobster collar in Maine

And the blue shirt to go with it that day

Pink Harness and leash with pink ladybug collar:

This will take me a while, so there will be many TBC's...

Wow, Hazel, I was going to warn you not to try this thread with your dial-up! Glad you were able to see it and witness my pathetic obsession, LOL!

But YES, that's the hope!!!! I don't know enough to make things on my own yet, but my Mom and I bought a pattern and knit material to try to make t-shirt hoodies for the girls for an upcoming trip this summer. She's going to TRY to teach me how, but most likely poor Mom will end up doing most of the work. Fortunately she's a great sewer and hopefully I'll be able to learn as well. We didn't even know it, but Simplicity had quite a few doggie patterns! So hopefully I can figure it out as it would be a huge money saver, like the collars.

No problems, actually! I caught them as you were uploading them, so I could work on them one post at a time! Worked great

Awww! Those pics are too cute for words. I never change Den-Den and Corky's collars. How do you switch the license and ID tags easily when you switch collars?

You have the most fashionable pups I've ever seen. I love it. I confess, if I had a dog I'd be buying little sweaters and shirts and stuff too.

I love the hounds tooth jackets. That is one of my favorite patterns.

Oh, I found these awesome little collar tags that allow you to snap the tags onto any collar quickly and easily. It's called the Cetacea Tag-It Mini-Collar. I got mine online at Amazon, but I think Petco carries them as well. I've seen them in a few pet stores too. They come in several colors, but I have it in black for all three of the dogs so it will match any collar. If you look back over the pics again, you'll see it on their various collars. LOVE these things! I've been using them for two years now and they're still holding strong. It's great to be able to quickly switch out the tags to various collars or harnesses as needed.

Those puppers have extensive wardrobes!

I'm so jealous, I can't seem to find stuff that will fit my dogs properly.

Now that was my kind of fashion show .

The furries all look wonderful and Jelly seems to be fitting in beautifully .

Note to self ..... make sure to request Smiley as owner if ever reincarnated as a dog .
