Nikki, my Grandma's Best Friend

My Grandma's cat Nikki, was pts yesterday because of a brain tumour. It all happened so fast and so suddenly. She is at peace now and in a much better place. We'll miss you Nikki.

In a way, I hope this was the best for my Grandma. She was overly obsessed with Nikki. She always wanted to keep the cat in her bedroom day and night even if the cat didn't want to be in there. She has fallen down to many times while trying to look for the cat throughout the house. She gets anxiety attacks because she worries to much about where Nikki is or if she got outside. I just hope now, my Grandma can relax a little bit. She handled her loss well, as she didn't want Nikki to suffer.

Ya, pets can make some people feel needed but for others, it can be too much. I wonder if she'll get another kitty...
