Yield 3 cups (1 serving)
2 cups (16 oz) ground chicken 1 large clove garlic minced 4 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth 1/2 cup chopped, cooked broccoli 2 tablespoons ricotta or 4% cottage cheese 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil Brown chicken in 2 tablespoons of the olive oil. When browned add in tomatoes, remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic and chicken broth. Stir to combine and simmer until tomates are mushy. Remove from heat, let cool to room temperature, add in chopped broccoli, ricotta and flaxseed oil. * if making a large batch ahead, do not add in flaxseed oil until serving as it does not keep well Last edited by mummummum; August 19th, 2007 at 12:15 PM. |

As per my post in the other thread, you can modify any recipe. Just remember to stay away from carbs in general but complex carbs are okay, stick to high protein, high fat. For a reason that escapes me now pork is not recommended for cancer patients.

For cancer you can also try giving essiac. It is supposed to help.
http://theherbs.info/Pets/ There are a lot of posts in the forum that discuss herbal cancer treatments. Good Luck! |

Thks I bought some Essiac yesterday, boy does he ever hate the taste of that, I don't blame him ,I've tasted it and it is awful.
Just hope it works, presently he is not eating much at all. |
