They have these great tires that are actually made of the same rubber but no metal in them. They also come in about 3 or 4 sizes and some you can get with a rope through them Buddy has yet to destroy it. That is a big endorsement since he can pretty well destroy any toy.

Diamond's new favorite toy is called "big mean kitty". I know, it sounds bad, but it's really funny. It's purple with black stripes, so it doesn't really look like a kitty. (don't want her to get ideas now do we? )

It's great. It has an angry face, and long floppy arms and tail. They say it's got what a dog loves... flopability. You know...grab it and shake your head like mad!!! (WHAP - WHAP)

It's made of canvas and is triple stiched at the seams. I picked it up at the local pet store for about $15.00. I'm not sure where you'll be able to pick one up. If I see it again I'll jot down the name of the manufacturer and let you know. It's even got a squeaker! (broken now, but she knows it's in there somewhere!)

If I rememeber right, we picked it up at Pet Valu. I'll go there this weekend and see if I can find it again. I need to get a new one anyways. They last a really long time (even playing tug with it) but they don't last forever. Diamond's has some small holes in it now and the squeaker is toast too.

Yeah, it figures.

And that would have to be her favorite part of the toy. She'd pick it up and chomp down on it over and over until she found the squeaker. Then she'd start running as fast as she can squeaking all while she's running. Now all it does is make muffled bending plastic noises.

Talking water bottles

after u drink out of a water bottle take off the wrapping and the little plastic ring aroung the neck of the bottle and of course the cap. Throw it on the floor and ur dog will love it!!!! it doesn't cost alot and u don't care if the dog destroys it. the other suggestion I have is going to Dollorama. they have good dog toys and they're only $1.00. good luck!!!!!

Dollar Store

Our favourite dollar store toy is the tennis ball with the nylon rope attached. She can grip the nylon and whip the ball back and forth, plus she can throw her own ball. This comes in quite handy sometimes!

Ok. I went and bought another "Big Mean Kitty" for Diamond this weekend.

Fat Cat Inc. is the maker of this fantastic toy. Diamond's in her glory, yet again, because it seems the squeaker fixed itself!!!

Hi ! one of my dogs favourite toys is her tugger, Its like a rope with two large knots one each end its red and yellow you can get them in many different colours. At first it was a bit stiff but after a couple of plays with it,It wears in and becomes quite soft and floppy the ends get frayed. She will play tug o war for ages and loves to growl and run off with it waiting for me to catch the other end and try to pull it off her real fun all gnarling and gnashing but not for the faint hearted We have had the one she has now for nearly a year and its just starting to look a bit tired.I will definately be buying another!

Oh my....no! It's not 50 bucks!!! For 50 bucks you get one of each: Big Mean Kitty, Cat Burglar, Postal Plaything and Homer Referee.

I picked up Kitty in the pet store for $14.99.

The first one lasted about 3 months, but that because we played tug with it. Even the strudiest canvas will rip with a 50LB dog hanging on to one end!

I love Kongs and also Goodie Ships http://www.petcarecentral.com/konxtremgood2.html - they last a long time. The floating Kong on a rope is a big fav here http://www.source-m.com/000000breeddetail/kong.cool.htm
