Letter From Michael Vick

"Excerpts from the five-page, handwritten letter Michael Vick sent to U.S. District Court Judge Henry E. Hudson from Northern Neck Regional Jail, where he was awaiting sentencing for his guilty plea to dogfighting charges:"

OMG!! Have you ever read such a diatribe of "woe is me" in your life?!?

How in the world could you not know that putting two dogs in a ring to SHRED EACH OTHER is wrong!?! How could you not know that slamming a dog into the pavement to kill it is wrong!?! Dogs screaming in pain and walls covered in blood and you don't know that it is wrong!?!

If this is truly the case, then I am afraid that not only should you be in prison - you should be recieving MAJOR psychological help!

How much help he may need we will never know...his eval was sealed.

************************************************** *****************

Also filed in court documents was a request from Vick's lawyers to seal sentencing documents, including his psychiatric report. He's due to be sentenced Dec. 10.

"The report, a detailed forensic psychiatric evaluation of the defendant, contains highly sensitive and private information about the defendant. Protecting this information from public consumption is a significant interest that heavily outweighs any interest the public may have in accessing the report," the attorneys wrote in documents filed Monday.

The judge granted that request.

Well Mr Vick you will get your second chance, after a bit of time in the jailhouse. I sincerely hope and pray that it does turn your life around.

Long before the dog fighting there was the water bottle incident. Here is the Saturday Night Live take on that. It's good for a laugh and it demonstrates that Vick doesn't aways think things through.

note: Youtube allows posters to post unedited comments. My advice is - play the video but don't read the comments.

BTW: Tonight's CSI has a dog fighting element. The show had ASPCA advisors which included the nations foremost animal forensics expert.
