18mth old Peeing in Crate :-(

Hello All
Ok - I'm desperate. We adopted Sophie from a loving family 2 weeks ago. She does not pee in her crate overnight - but does during the day a problem reported to be "sporadic" by the previous family but 90% occurance with us. I've made her crate smaller, taken out the blankets, take her out before crating, arranged for her to be taken out 4 hours after being in her crate, exercise her before & after being crated (walks, play, etc.), have her on a regular feeding schedule (twice a day), put toys in her crate (kong w/treat), trying Phermone calming sprays, not made a fuss prior to crating or on un-crating. Cleaned the crate with enzyme eating cleaners. She willingly goes to her crate & even dislikes coming out in the morning to get her day started (not a morning dog - lol who knew?) I can't think of anything else to do. She did have a few accidents during the day in the house but 4 of 17 days only. HELP!
