Brewers yeast ???
I started adding some brewers yeast to the dogs food and well... I dont think i can keep up with that. IT STINKS. I can cut liver, hearts, lungs and what not with out flinching, but a teaspoon of that raunchy stuff clenches up my stomache. The dogs love it, and it seems quite good for them.
Is there another alternative that i could use? Or should i just stop all together? ( did i waste my money even buying it?) Its garlic flavored ( got at petfood store) and I think that's what turns my tummy the most. Also, solid gold has some fish oil stuff too that i saw... should i get some of that? Or is it not worth it again.?

I never understood brewer's yeast... I think it's vitamin B or something that it gives, but so many dogs already have a yeast imbalance and I'd worry about aggravating it...
I give a fish oil supplement from "biologic vet". It's wild salmon oil in a pump and it does amazing things for the coat. Not sure if you need it on raw, but I know on kibs it's helpful. |
