Cat Grass!!
Is almost ready!! It's about 2 inches high and nice and thick! There should be enough to make everyone happy! Can't wait to see Coco's reaction when I bring it out for them!

Ours love it and even the 18 and 20 year old still get up on the window sill every day to have a few chews of it. And yes, they still can get up on the windowsill.
We used to dig up a small chunk of lawn each Fall and that worked too. Then we grew our own cat grass, from grass seed and oats. Now we just buy a pot in the grocery store for usually around $2.00, much easier. We'll need 2 or 3 pots to get through winter. |

I wish that was the case at my house! Here, a pot of grass gets destroyed in about 2 days. I can't even grow it from seed anymore cause Carrot hunts it down and "kills it", leaving a splatter-fest of dirt and barely sprouted seeds everywhere. I buy trays of wheat grass from the health food store when it's available since those tend to last longer - maybe as long as a week (if Peppercorn doesn't sit on it).

I was planting it in those little aluminum freezer containers and then saw that website someone posted in another thread and went OMG, why didn't I think of that!! I think I'll wait another day or two to bring it out and yes I will get pics!
