The Bentons were found not guilty of a second charge of failing to provide appropriate vet treatment for a chronic ear infection.
Our laws are not even near that point yet. Amazing.

So this doggy was ~155lbs, eh? I knew two at the kennel I worked at- same chocolate labs- who were both 160.

Fattest cat and this is entertainment: http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2005/fat-cat-p1.php I don't think there is a category for dogs thankfully. It's all very stupid and horrible.

Depending on the structure of the lab, 140lbs may not necessarily make it obese. I've seen some 100+lb labs that looked very good (they obviously were not bred to standard). In this case, from the picture, the dog is horribly obese. I find it interesting that "The brothers said that they had tried to make him lose weight but were unable to get him to stick to a diet." What??? Was their dog gettting up in the middle of the night to bake a tray of cookies?
