Made my own veggies today :)
So excited... I went to the grocery store a few days ago and bought some carrots, celery, apples, and broccoli and today I attemped to make a small batch of pureed veggies for the dogs. It actually worked pretty good... I only started with a small batch just to see how it went, but when I have more time I'm going to make more! What other veggies do raw feeders add that make their own veggie mixes? I thought about adding blueberries etc. but they are so expensive here, so maybe only once in awhile as a treat...

Good On Ya!
Re: Blueberries. Do you have No-Name products in Alberta? If so, No-Name frozen B-berries are quite inexpensive and v. good. |

There isn't much I don't use (other than the onions). When I did it full time, I bought whatever was on sale and in the summer by whatever I was freezing for myself. You will find with trial and error that some stuff just doesn't agree (farts, runny poop) with the nanimules. I made mine in big batches and froze them in either ice cube trays or the super-small baggies.

Thanks, MMM!
I will look into frozen blueberries as we do have no-name products here! I finished up the rest of the veggies tonight and def made quite a bit of veggie mix! We'll see how they like it tomorrow, haha!

Blueberries have a strong smell. Scruff won't eat his veggies if there is a blueberry in there
HOwever he loves my home made blueberry ice cream (I had to give him a taste lol) But good on you for making your own veggies for the pup. I cook more for Scruff than I do for me, I think |
