So do we pick a winner or just say everybody's a winner for participating?

Okay, so I'm late. We just took this yesterday afternoon, then were busy with Halloween-ing. Maggie doesn't look too thrilled, but she was a good sport. Bo the cat wouldn't even come over!

Are the patterns carved all the way through or are some of them just carved thin enough to let the light through? I can't tell from the pics...but it looks like some of the pattern would fall off or be awfully weak if it were carved all the way through?

Hmmm...I'm not that talented. The knife always slips and I end up with one super big triangle eye and one teeny little triangle eye... (can you tell, since I still cut triangle eyes, that I'm not very handy with the pumpkin carving? )

We have those pumpkin carving knives and scoopers that do the job really well. They have little "saws" that cut really good. We got a bunch of them for about 75 cents first couple of days after Halloween. (I usually stock up on them because I either break them or lose them).
