Egg the kitten needs to get from MI to Montreal...

Hi! I've never posted for transportation help before, so not sure how it works.
Egg is a 3 month old kitten who needs to get to Montreal to her loving forever home.
I am in Michigan, and can drive her up into Ontario...Toronto or a bit further?
The week of Feb 14 is completely open for me, timewise, and I can be flexible. I could perhaps swing it this coming week, in a pinch.
I'll provide a carrier for Egg, and whatever supplies she needs.
I imagine she'll need vaccination certificates & whatever to legally go across the border? I know it's required for dogs (I also know they don't generally check, though!)
Thanks!

Update

We are still looking for someone who could drive Egg from Toronto to Montreal or to Ottawa. I have posted some requests on Yahoo boards but so far I have had no response. There MUST be someone who loves cats who commutes between TO and MTL

LISA.

Keep trying guys! If someone can get her from TO to Ottawa, masaana on this board commutes regularly from OTT/Montreal.

Carina all the kitten needs is proof of rabies vaccination, and the certificate must clearly identify her, so you can tell the vet that.

Well, it is suprisingly inexpensive to fly Egg on Air Canada. (It would cost more in gas, actually.) And all in all, she will spend less time in transit that way too, so less stressful for her, I hope. There are daily heated cargo flights out of Detroit, so I think that's the way to go...I hate thinking of her in a scary cargo hold. But (speaking from experience!) she's too curious and pesky to drive without being crated, and she wouldn't really enjoy 12-14 hours of being crated and driven, either.
I took her to my vet yesterday for shots and the health clearance certificate.
Right now she is vigorously killing my left hand and messing up my typing. I don't think I needed the vet to tell me she was healthy!
