That was so sweet of Onster! Cats and boxes seem to go hand in hand. I love the picture of is that Tinka chewing on the pink coil? Cute!

That is Mylee AG. I think that's the only time she managed to get one before Mittens took them over.

Be careful with those springs eh... Fagan got one lodged between his teeth once, really freaked him out! I can only let them play with those supervised now. (he was yeowling and pooping himself under my bed when it got stuck... pretty scary for us both!)

I remember that story but for some reason I didnt htink it was those springs!

I just leave them all over the place, but luckily my cats dont chew them, they just whack them around.

Something similar happened to Oksana when she was a kitten. Not with a spring like that, but with one of those coil toys that have the small coil and then something poofy at the end. She got her little nails stuck in them on two separate occasions and was so scared, I decided to just throw the thing away. Now I never buy anything with a coil like that.

I've had these kind before too but never thought about them getting their teeth caught in them. Thanks for the warning Kr!

Thanks for the warning, I will have to watch them when I bring home new toys.

14+ yeah I need to go buy new toys, but I don't travel up here anymore in winter...it can be very scary. So I'll have to wait until April when most of the winter storms are over. I'll have lots of time to make a list! LOL

Your kitties sure are bautiful! You are such a wonderful person for taking in all those kittens and looking after all those strays!

Thanks for the warning about the springs kr. So far so good. I usually keep an eye on them when they are playing. Mittens doesn't chew them. Mylee hasn't paid any attention to them since the first time (when I snapped the pic) and the other kitties don't get a chance to play with them. They seem to like the little mices.

Tundra - I am entirely selfish. I don't want to share the kitties with anyone. That's why I still have most of them.
