Pee drops on toddler's bed

Hi guys!

Well I had a question today from a cousin:

She lives in Italy, she has a kid about 3 years old and a 4 year old female cat, spayed. Lately the kitty cat has been going to sleep to the boy's bed but the problem is when she gets up she leaves a few drops of pee in the sheets, which means changing everything and washing every time she does it.
Recently my cousin changed the cat's bed by the heater and she seems pleased with that but eventually she'll go back to the boy's bed and do her pipi thing.
What could this possibly be?

Isn't there a door to boy's bedroom , if there is that should solve the problem with the wet bed. Has the cat been checked out to see if she has an urine infection or other health issues that could her to have accidents?

Well I think she sneaks in and the door can't be closed at all times.
Yeah in advance the first thing I told her is to make sure if she doesn't have a problem in her urinary tract.

Koteburo, I know female dogs can have incontinence issues after spaying due to lack of estrogen. Not sure if the same applies for cats but I don't see why not. Get your cousin to ask her vet about it.

Have your cousin take the cat to the vet. It could be a UTI. If it is the cat will need to be on antibiotics for that. She does not want the cat to be suffering, so this is the best option.

Thanks a lot for the input I think that's the best thing to do because it sounds to me she's having a bit of a UTI
