I would like to hear from anyone who has purchased a puppy from PetSelect, located near Guelph, Ontario, who is not happy with this service. Recently my aunt purchased a puppy from them and it has been both devastating to my aunt and the puppy. I really would like to hear about or be contacted by any other unhappy customers.

I live in Waterloo, Ontario. I don't know anyone that has purchased a pup from them, however, buying a pup for a petstore anywhere is a VERY bad idea. I don't know when people will get educated about buying puppies from petstores. These dogs are a result of puppy mills and they are treated so poorly.

Was there a guarantee from the store to fall back on? I feel bad for you Aunt and Uncle but people need to open their eyes and do research before making a big purchase like a pup.

Since NO reputable breeder would dream of unloading his/her puppies in a petstore, the puppies being sold there come from mills and disreptuable backyard breeders. They are churned out in large numbers and with extreme cruelty and no regard for health.

Your story is a very common one. Your aunt can try taking the pet store to small claims court to recover vet bills.

You HAVE to contact Guelph Humane Society they are investigating this place!! It's an ongoing investigation and ANY information you can give them will be helpful.

This petselect is a puppy mill/broker operation if ever I've seen one.
