I am following a new career path!

As a photographer I get to be my own boss, work when I want, charge what I want, and do something I actually WANT to do. What could be better?*

*the economy so I could actually get some more clients

Anyways, mind giving some opinions of a few pictures of mine? (posted with permission from owners/shelters)

LOL sorry, not quite that pro at photoshop. I do know how to remove wrinkles though, and made the mistake of making that announcement and using a picture of my mom as the example

Oh yeah, that would make mom happy! I think the pics are great. There is nothing better than doing what you love. Follow your dreams girl. I actually had to scroll back up to see where you lived, but you're too far away for me to hire you for a shoot. Darn.

Great shots. I seem to know a ton of people lately who are into that career path. One of the girls at work is going through the course now. My future DIL is almost finished hers. There's a few others as well. Interesting.

What wonderful pics, kathryn . I thought you were thinking of being a vet tech? You would have made a wonderful one.

Well whatever she decides I have a strong suspicion that it will evolve around animals.

Yeah, I was with the shelter for years as a tech.. first as a volunteer and then hired. But, when new management came in they cleaned house and I got fired 2 days before Thanksgiving. So I've been looking around for other tech jobs, but no one is really hiring. Plus with my health issues and really bad allergies, being in an enclosed building with hundreds of animals for hours on end and being around smelly chemicals and cleaners, it was killing me. This is a bit easer.

I'll eventually go back to my shelter once the new quack of a director is given the boot, since she is driving everyone crazy as it is For now this gives me something to do.

oh, I really like Kasey!

Great photos, so clear and the animals are very alert! I love the pitties but then I have a big soft spot for them.
