pesky tree
Does anyone know what kind of tree this is? It produces red berries or small apple like things & has purplish red leaves (see pic) and they are a nuisance - they are falling all over my newly painted deck and sidewalk and get mushed by the neighbourhood kids....yuck! Is there anything I can do to keep the tree (I like it for it's shade) but stop the berries or apples or whatever they are from coming?
 (that is my index finger so you have an idea for size)
