Pets and the family

Well, today is my birthday. It's my first birthday while owing a dog. And I feel really sad about going out to dinner and not being able to bring him with me. He is part of my family!

I know that Restaurants and food don't mesh, but I wish there was a way to take him with us.

Makes me sad.

Can you take him to an outdoor cafe. I guess its getting a bit cold for that now. We take Joey to a coffee bar near our house. They have water dishes setup outside for the dogs to have a drink too.

My husband has taken Joey to his work after to work ours to have a drink with the other staff and a few regulars.

Maybe if Odin cant join you, you can make a special request for him. Maybe a nice bone or something (raw of course).

Actually I remember going for dinner recently with the kids and hubby. This guy had a great dane. The dog was in the car with the window open he parked almost right next to the window of the restraunt, and him and his dog could see each other through the window. He also went outside every two minutes to see the dog too. Very cute.

If you brought him a little doggie bag home, I am sure it would make up for leaving him. I often eat half portions of meat, so my doggie is lucky because she will often get half a steak or something.

or

You could order in and have a family meal at home with resturaunt food.

yeah, but on your birthday you have to take advantage of all the free stuff out there (hehehe). We are going to Tucker's Marketplace which is a buffet, and doesn't have a heated porch, and we can't take leftovers from a buffet.

Oh well...I wish there was a place that offered a free pizza on your b-day. I LOVE pizza!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Mine was on Sunday (16th) Libra?
I like the stay home idea and for a little tip most East side marios deliver and it really feels like eating at a restaraunt b/c they send you all the sides too, Garlic bread and soup or salad. And it tastes really good!

At Eastside Marios they made me stand on a chair while they sang to me. It wasn't really even my Birthday, my friends thought it would be funny to tell the sever it was. I denied it, they claimed I was a shy person and was trying to get out of it. I could have showed my ID, but at that point I was like OK I'll see what I can get for free. I spun a wheel, and got a coffee cup.

Pretend to be blind, and take Odin with you.

** intended to just be a silly idea, not to offend any visually challenged persons and/or friends/family of the visually challenged **

happy birthday!

I always get dinner at my dad's on my birthday and it's the only time my doggies are allowed to come without question... Every other time they have to figure out when the cleaning lady is due to come and if they're having any visitors till then... Whatever! Fur Schmur! I don't even see it anymore until it takes the shape of a 3rd doggy.

My suggestion, even though it's too late, spend the day with him and then go out and let him rest from all the trouble you've caused him and all the disruption to his sleeping routine.
