Y'know that old song - The Cat Came Back?
Well...... he did. The original black kitty has taken up residence in the catuary again. So, I have a lot of questions which I will never get answered. As in, is the other black kitty related? Were they dumped at the same time? Was that cat hubby saw the morning after this one got out the same cat or a different one? Would it have traveled that far in one night? I am confused.
Only thing I know for sure is........ The Cat Came Back. Now tell me you aren't humming the song. |

Well I am humming that song. Kitties don't usually go too far from home and when they find out that things are not better on the other side of the fence they come back.
I wonder too if they are related. But I know now that they are in good hands

If I ever knew that song, I never knew the words or what the title was, so I can't hum it...but I would if I could!
As I recall, didn't you and hubby do something after he left last time to make the enclosure more secure? So do you think he's there to stay this time? He's a lucky kitty, even if he doesn't know it!

I was keeping an eye on him to see what he would do when he started roaming. The first thing was over to the spot he had ripped open the last time and up to the top. Of course he wasn't happy to find it fixed. Now I am worried about whether or not he will try digging out! The Cat Came Back lyrics The Cat Came Back Old Mr. Johnson had problems of his own. He had a yellow cat that just wouldn't leave him alone. He tried and he tried to give the cat away. He gave it to a little man going far away... But the cat came back the very next day. Yes, the cat came back. They thought he was a goner, But the cat came back. He just wouldn't stay away. There are a lot more lyrics than that but that would make it way too long for here. I have thought that too. Like I said before I do not know any neighbours that have cats. Last year a customer of mine told me that there is a lady probably 3 or 4 km away from here that has black cats that she doesn't fix. She is older and says she can't afford to fix them. They are allowed to mate willy nilly. I am wondering if these two could possibly have come from there. The only other thing I can think is they have been dumped. I am going to visit the customer this week. She's the one that adopted Nip and Tuck from me. I will look at this lady's house to see what I can see. |

It certainly sounds like the black cats are coming from that woman's place. Is there any way the SPCA will get involved and go to her place to trap them? I just don't understand people that let their cats multiple over and over again.
