Question Please Help!

Hi,

My mom has a dog in india that appears very ill. It has a swollen nose , swelling over the eyebrows and bleeds when he sneezes. He also cries when his nose is touched, appears lethargic and does not bark loudly at strangers as he used to. Veternary care in india is very poor and there is no vet she can take it to. PLease tell me what this may be due to and what medication is necessary. PLease e-mail me at psubbaiah@yahoo.com

Thanks.

try calling vets in your area... they'd be your best help... I think...

Did this happen suddenly? Maybe an allergic reaction to a bee sting or something? I know you can give Benadryl safely to dogs for swelling.

But honestly, it's impossible for anyone to tell over the internet.

She could also do a very careful check of the dog's face & neck for an injury or infection...and check the dogs teeth & mouth also for dental problems like an abcessed tooth.
