Canine Bronchitis - holistic remedy - Answered by Dr. Guindon

Jessie is a mixed terrier/lab, 7-8 years old, and is in the early stages of bronchitis. She has good days and not so good days but even on the worst days she doesn't seem to be in any major distress.

I have visited the vet and he prescribed Torbutrol 5mg. Results are inconsistent.

I was wondering if their are any holistic medication that would give Jessie relief.

Thanks

Lab dogs are usually carbonic type in homeopathy, they could have chronic bronchitis worsened by cold humidity.

I suggest: Calcarea carbonica 15CH, 3 granules once a week and Coryzalia ( Made by BOIRON), one tablet 3 times a day.

These products can be found in drugstore. Coryzalia can be replaced by
any other homeopatic product used for human bronchitis.

Chronic Bronchitis In Alaskan Malamute

I have been told after a case of pneumonia my dog has developed chronic bronchitis and needs to be put on steroids. He is 2 years old and the local vet is insisting this is the best treatment. Would there be a different recomendation for this breed? Thanks Kevin

The doseage recommended on the bottle is 5 pellets 3 times a day and I have only been able to find 30CH. Appreciate your clarification.

Hello, I am a former client who had excellent care given for my cat about
three years ago by Dr. P Guindon (Montreal, QC), regarding urinary issues, but can not reach him by phone for an appointment and really need to find him again!
Does anyone know the contact info?

Kind regards,
Claire
