wonderful story!!! my gramps was given one many many many years ago with an arrow through its head, the vet removed it and the goose lived the rest of his life at our farm, could never fly and always walked with his head on a tilt, the one inch of shaft could not be removed without killing him, I can't remember how long he lived after that, seems to me a year, I do remember wintering him in the barn and the ministry checking up on him. What a lucky goose that was to land in a vets yard, almost like it knew??

Thank you, I think gramps kennel was a cover up for a retirement/rescue home for animals, wild and domesticated, he taught me lots.
