Recommendation OF Kibble, Anyone?

Been thinking to switch my lady's kibble again.. :sad:
Currently she's on TO lamb and apple. They have been kind of inconsistent in their kibble. Be it the aroma, shape, color, packaging... I'm getting a little sick of wondering what would i see/smell again when i open a new pack.
Anyhow, previously she was on NB venison, but seems to have problem adjusting to it. Resulted in soft poo and impacted anal gland.. And, before NB venison, it was Azmira Lamb which contain an ingredient, Menadione.

So, any recommendation of lamb-based kibble for my lady? Anyone, please........ TIA

Many pet food makers use a number of ingredients that act as anti-diarrheals (poop hardeners). If you switch to a kibble that does not use them your pet will have loose stools. Very important to gradually start a new kibble when in doubt. Such as 75% old food 25% new food... once pooping is o.k., go up to 50/50 and so on.
I put my Daphne on Blue Buffalo Free Range Lamb and Whole Grain Brown Rice, it has no poop hardeners in it and it took three months before she was on it 100%

Look and see if your pet was getting poop hardeners before you switched food.

StergeR, what brands of dog food are available to you over there? Canidae or California Natural would be two good choices but I don't know if you can get them.

No ~ they are ingredients like tomato pomace and beet skins.

I remember all your troubles with TO Sterger. In addition to the brands already covered Orijen is also seems to be excellent food. My gang are looking forward to the release of the 6 fish this month.

Stool hardeners are often times things that contain natural prebiotics (as in the case of inulin) or beet pulp. The thing with "stool hardeners" are that they remove EXCESS water from the digestive tract to form a solid stool. No excess water there, no need for this fiber source. Some dogs need this, especially if there is a food intolerance involved, as it coats the tract, some dogs don't need it.

ahh thanks for all the replies..

Canidae lamb & Rice, its a common brand over here.. But was not very keen to get it. As my friend's miniature schnauzer has very bad skin problem after switching over to it. Was kinda worried if it happens to my lady..
But, meanwhile i will try to get some samples first to see if it works well for my lady.
While for California Natural, its not available in many pet stores. As for Orijen, i would really love to get that. But i have not come across this brand.. Will try looking around for it.....
