The fluffy one on the far right looks like he is ready to fall off, you should be a shamed of yourself not providing them a bigger couch so they have room to stretch out. Poor things.

That is the only thing I like about having carpet in the living room .... I can sit down on the floor

cpietra16 , we should all send you big fluffy pillows for your tush so you can sit on the floor and not disturb the kitties

Heck cpietra! We're all a bunch of silly humans and should know that couches are for pets and floors are for humans!

now see you have ti think a bit differently

first of all they are excellent hand and foot warmers
also sneak grooming is good
and if you all lump a few together you have an excellent though itchy pillow

All they're trying to do is to warm up all the cushions for you. They don't know which one you want to sit on so are taking no chances. Pretty pretty kitties.

Oh, they all do look comfy, cpietra! And a bigger couch won't do you any good--as angeldogs mentioned, they will just fill the available space. We fell for it and got a whole nuther bed--we currently have a king-sized and a queen-sized...you'd think we'd have room for the humans, wouldn't you? Nyuh-uh. Nope.

If we end up with two king-sized beds in the next few months, it will certainly say a lot about who has whom trained!

I think it's best just to be quick--if you really want to sit, you just have to get there first! And good luck with that!

Looks a lot like my couch!!!! I have perfected rearranging them without fully waking them to make myself some room! Just try getting up and getting back to the same spot though....lol... I think they think we're just warmin the cushions for THEM!!! And is that a kirby vacuum in that last pic?! We just gave ours away in the spring!

come on, you don't really think getting a bigger anything will let you have room? I have a king size bed and still have to fight for just a little bit of pillow and have found myself falling out of bed on occaision because the cats get first choice of any available space in my house. I know it and they know it and guess what...they always win!!

The pics are too cute.

It works that way at our house too and if you are lucky enough to find a spot on the couch or chair then don't get up cuz it will disappear.

We had all the carpet shampooing attachments too it was a great machine....but required too much patience for me! Hubby used to sell them eons ago... his folks still have theirs. I'm now holding out for a dyson....
