a happy ending but that belcastro guy is a jerk, IMO. If not for the cash, he would have left Rocco to fend for himself. ARGH

Rocco put on 10 pounds before he was handed back. Dogs wandering around loose in the country is, sadly not that uncommon and neither are pleading posters on rural mailboxes. My "neigbour" from a mile and a half away was on our hill again - for the fifth time in the last two weeks - with his binoculars out searching the valley for his wayward black lab. Sure enough, he was at the house right next door to us. The guy refuses to build a fence, kennel or tie up the mutt to keep it home . . . . the dog has to cross a highway to get to our place and run the coyote gauntlet. Rick C www.goldentales.ca |
