Molly's new toy

Yipeee! new toys. Molly must have really sucked up the other day cause I spent way more than my budget on a toy for her - probably cause she wasn't at the pet store with me, when she's there we just have to buy the first toy she slobbers all over. She got a squirrel house, it's a plush "log" with three little squeaking squirrels that go inside the log. She had a BLAST!
She figured out how to get the squirrels out in pretty good time (about 5 min for the first) but then I kept sticking the squirrels back in as she took them out. A great interactive toy for us and safer than playing "fetch" in the house.

Ya might want to wipe that silly smile off your face

Awwww ~`Molly has such a bewildered and mournful look on her face as she's gazing at the maimed-but-still-smirky squirrels.

that looks like a great loking toy, unfortunatly it would not last 5 min in this house... not with "Bree the destroyer of stuffies" (and anything else she can rip apart)

hehe, loved those pics . Riley had a similar toy that was a huge hit here but unfortunately surgery is only able to be performed so many times before the death pronouncement must be made .

Gomez was very methodical with his destruction of this toy - first he pulled off al their hairs, then their tails, then he went after the ears and snouts... nothing left but squirrel remains....

He was only 6 months when he rippe dit to shreds... we remember it well!

Bearsmom - I got it at an independent pet store but i've seen them in the Pet Supply House catalog and you can order from them anywhere.

the squirrels, well, their mostly dead, surgery MAY be considered but the outcome is not looking good. Now, we look for other critters to stuff in the "tree" which is still in good shape. That's one kind of nice thing about this toy, the stuffing possibilities are endless and Molly seems to like pulling just about anything out of the "tree".
