Puppy Peeing Problem

We recently adopted a puppy about a week ago, he's a Lab-Husky mix, and about 11 weeks old. He seems to be constantly peeing whenever he chases the cats around the house. I originally thought he had a bladder infection, but when that was ruled out, I came to realize that he pees when he is excited when playing with the cats!

Is there any way to minimize this excited? Or is he just going through a phase? Help!

It could hopefully be a muscle issue he will grow out of. Did your vet give any advise? If your vet has no recommendations (I am sure medication is our of the question for a young pup) You might want to consider just diapering him, or getting a belly-band to catch the pee. Otherwise just try and keep him away from absorbent surfaces and spend lot's of time cleaning...
