Petzlife salmon or mint?

I'd like to try Petzlife on my cat's teeth. I'm not sure what flavor to buy -- I've read complaints about both, the mint (original) being too strong and the salmon not remotely resembling salmon. Any recommendations?

I want to use Petzlife -- short term --to remove the tartar on the top back teeth of my 5 year old cat. If I can get the tartar off with Petzlife, I would switch to a maintenance toothpaste (Biotene or CET).
