Yeah but its better if they are thawed. In the summer I often feed frozen as "meatscicle" treats, but not as their regular feeding.
If I feed a whole chicken its frozen most of the time

It doesnt really do anything other than make me chuckle when I ask them if they want their "meatsicle"
they enjoy the treat and im sure itfeels nice on the tounge and mouth to have something frozen.

You do know about the travelling-water trick too? Take a plastic bowl (large) and fill about half with water the previous day, freeze it. When you load up the car with everything including the dogs, add the frozen water bowl. Keeps it from spilling water all over, and the doggies have water for the trip just by licking the ice

personally, id make sure the meat is LARGE LARGE like a whole chicken and let them work on it for a while. ive done that several time. we get pretty hot down here and Mister is REALLY black. i also freeze watery/goody/meaty/eggy treats for him and he likes that. 'WOOHOO!! peanut butter!!!'. 5 minutes later.... 'YEAH!! thats a.... CARROT!!' you know... dog brains. -ash
