Hello to all!

Hello Everyone! What a wonderful site! I have enjoyed reading and learning so many things already! A bit about our wonderful little dog Honey...she is a four year old beautiful Pom/ Eskie we think. She was rescued from a horrible puppy mill. She was 3 months old when we brought her home, extremely malnurished, underweight and her fur was discolored from poop. She had worms, fleas, and ear mites. In the home there were 23 dogs, hundreds of chinchillas and birds everywhere. Poo on the walls, the floor and children and animals living in that filth!!!! Honey was kept in a playpen filled with poop with six other dogs. One of which was blind, because the breeder treated an eye infection on her own with the wrong medication! So sad. Anyway, enough about that. It's been 4 years and it still makes me sick. Our little Honey is such a wonderful little dog and so sweet with our daughter.

She is a bit lonely though. I was caring for a friend's dog during the day for six months. He is an older dog and needed a little extra care during the days when she was at work. Now my friend is home during the day and her dog MacKenzie doesn't visit as often. Poor Honey is just not herself. It's been over a month. We are thinking of getting Honey a companion... well we also would love to have another dog join the family!!!

Well that's all about our Honey. We love her very much! Looking forward to reading lots more!

Welcome to the board, redfox! I hope you have some pics of Honey and Jaws (what a cute name for a beta! ) to share with us.

And how exciting--to be considering another furbaby! We do that occasionally here...we recently expanded to seven! he he What can I say? It's a sickness

Looking forward to hearing more about Honey (and Jaws) and the possible newbie in the forums.
