Question Found something wrong with my 13 year old cat...

I was rubbing my cat's belly yesterday - a rare occasion since he really doesn't like a belly rub, when I found that one of his nipples has turned black. It is a little enlarged and has a bit of a white tip coming out of the side of it. Now, it looks pretty gross, but it's not bothering my cat. He's not uncomfortable and everything else is normal. Any ideas as to what this is? What shoudl I do?
Thank you!!
