Hi,

Dalmatians are born all white WITHOUT spots.

The spots develop a few weeks after birth.

Hi, I own a Dal, and yes they are born white and develop a reverse pigmentation which are the spots...My dal is liver-spotted but a default as his spots aren't uniform in colour. He is primarily liver or chocolate but spots along his spine are deeper brown almost black but in sunlight, clearly brown.
He's a good boy....
