Exclamation Need Help Fast ...Beta

My husband got me a beta and i fell in love with him ..... he been doing fine but then my husband put him with some other fish and he looks really bad his fins are really torn will they grow back what can i do to help him he doesn't seem as happy as before he's in his own bowl now .....need help asap i don't want to loose him

Put him back in his own bowl ASAP! Bettas don't do well with other fish.

Odd, i had several beta's over the years and they all did fine with other fish, just couldn't put them with another beta. but i'm with the others put him back by himself.

Clean water should help him heal. Melafix added to the water may help too.

skip the melafix, get a 2g+ tank for him that has a filter and a heater. put a little gravel from your big tank in it (yuck and all, dont rinse it!) and do small daily water changes. you could add a touch of aquarium salt. maybe 1tbs per 5-10g??? dont feed him often. every other day should be fine. maybe every 3 days.

Not all bettas do well in a community tank. They need lots of plant cover, floating plants in particular, and fish in the community that won't nip their fins, so no barbs, angels, aggressive swords, etc.
I'm sorry you lost your fish, they're such beauties and so different.
