Smile Looking to adopt a small shedless hypo-allergenic dog

My husband and I are first time dog owners and we would love to rescue a dog. We both have allergies, and my husband has asthma and we prefer a small dog who is hypo-allergenic and shedless, like a poodle, poo-mix, shih-tzu, or bichon. Since we are first time dog owners, we would like one with an easy going temperament.

We don't have kids but will plan on having children in the next few years. Therefore, we would like a non-aggressive dog who would be great with kids. We have a very social lifestyle with many family and friends coming by our home and would like a dog who is comfortable in a social environment. We both work full time, but stagger our hours and are typically gone from the house for about 6-7 hours during the day.

We are open to adopting pups and senior dogs. We are located in Vaughan just north of Toronto. Please email at karsalis@yahoo.com

There is no such thing as a hypo-allergenic dog that does not shed.

If you both have allergies and your husband has asthma, the best thing to do would be to find a dog in a rescue and offer to foster it, so you can see if you react to it. Even if you are o.k. with it, what if your future child is allergic?
