FOUND-Dog, Penticton, BC

She is a cutie. a Shihtzu or shihtzuX with tricolor coat in bad need of grooming. sorry no pic, my camera died months ago and we can not find my daughters camera. If I find it, I will post a pic.

DH found this little angel wandering near our home tonight. she is friendly and seems to have no issues with either the cats or Melei. She is a little chunky and slightly shorter then Melei, but has very similar coloring.
She is Posted on Petlynx and Petfinder. I will be calling the local SPCA tomorrow when they open and see about getting her scanned for a chip.

She will be remaining here until we find her owner.........or til we choose a name other then the current we are using (Stinky)

If you have lost your Stinky Angel in the south end of Penticton in the WhiteWater MobileHome Park/Skaha Lake area, she is comfortably snoozing on DH lap with Melei and I am sure she wants to come home.

Post here or PM me your phone # or email and we will figure out how to get her home.

She has been returned to her home, her real name is Gabby. I am hoping that they will finish the grooming I have started, said they where going to. I did offer to help them do it if they need help. turns out they do live very close to us.

She is so beyond brushing at this point Frenchy  I cut huge mats out of her and she needs to be completely shaved unfortunetly. Brushing out the mats would be too painful for her.

I took one mat off her tail that was stopping her from wagging! as soon as it was off she started wagging so hard she nearly fell over!

If you can not brush everyday and trim her every couple of months at most, a shihtzu is not a breed that should be on your short list that is for sure! Melei's grooming takes me at least 4-5 hours a week.

For Gabby's sake, I wish that they had accepted your offer.

How did you get them reunited ...were they looking for her?

I called animal control the next morning and they gave me the owner's phone #.
I am going to go and see them again in another day or so and see if they have done it...and offer again to do it if they haven't found the time.
