sick dog

I have a 2 year old yorkio-poo, a small dog of about 10-12 pounds. For two 1/2 days now he has not been able to keep food in his stomach. I feed him and in a matter of minutes he vomits. My Vet is stumped after taking several x-rays and blood samples. What is surprising is how active he is without nurshment. He acts as if nothing is wrong but this can not last much longer. The food I'm now using was recommended by the vet and upon his advice given to the dog in small amounts about every half hour but this isn't working. I'm distressed to say the least. This is saturday pm. and I'll be back in touch with my vet early Monday morning but I'm hoping I might be able to get some suggestions on the Internet. If anyone has experienced this problem I would appreciate any suggestions you might have. Many thanks. David
