golden retrievers

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to tell if your dog is purebred?
We recently became owners of a supposedly purebred golden retriever, who was abandoned.
She looks like she could be purebred, not that it matters but it would be nice to know. Thanks

No true true way unless there is a tatoo or registration.
