i had a cat with the same problem

My cat, Chatouille, had the same problem. It turned out that the vet had botched the operation and had left a portion of her uterus of phalopian tubes (can't remember which) inside her. It was quite uncomfortable for her and her heats were terribly irregular. She had to have surgery again.
