Stressed and worried

Hi, new to this forum
Have 7.5 yr old Airedale who looks clinically healthy, always has been healthy, eats well etc but a recent blood test for a single episode of vomiting revealed high red blood count and low glucose, both fairly off the reference range. A repeated test 3 days later was the same. An abdominal ultrasound will be done tomorrow, but I fear the worst because the word cancer of pancreas or kidney are being mentioned. Anyone have knowledge or experience with this condition? The high red blood count I learned is called Polycythemia. when this and low glucose appear together, it seems quite serious. Anyone have any experience or knowledge about prognosis of a insulinoma of the pancreas or kidney cancer and/or disease? Going nuts with worry right now. It feels surreal !
thanks

I have no experience with that but can imagine the torment you are going through. Good thoughts for a benign outcome. Sorry this serious worry is what brings you here, but welcome.

Hana1, I am sorry I don't have any experience with this either, but I do hope you get good test results and that things are easily sorted out for your pup.
