Well...seing that he is still very much a pup , Max has decided that the only place he can be is with me in bed , i tried getting him to stay on the floor at the end of the bed , but no dice, he won't have any of it , and when he does get up on the bed, he insists on dragging all the blankets off the bed first, and then finding a good spot to lay down...then wakes up an hour or so later and decides that i Need to get up too and nags me with lil' paw stomps and licks all over me until i get up....afterall..." i'm up ,it's playtime now !!, no time for sleep !!! "...lol...what was i thinking huh ?....Sorry Max !!! ...lol...my hope is that as he gets older , he will lose his fondness for the bed and sleep on the floor , or we'll be fighting for who gets what side...lol

My mom's dog BJ has decided that instead of sleeping on my bed with me he wants to sleep on my brand new sofa. thats ok he doesn't chew. Candi used to sleep in her crate next to my bed but she had terrible seperation axiety (the vet has decided that is what it is that was causing her accidents) so now she sleeps in bed with me and we have never had accident problems agian. (of course thats assuming mommy doesn't sleep through her warning signs. hasn't happened yet but i'm still paranoid. she doesn't have accidents during the day but i take her to work with me so she's never alone.) she looks so small but when that dog streches out she takes up the whole bottom of the bed. and she absolutly has to be under the covers or she'll just cry all night till you let her under.

But seriously ... Kuma sleeps wherever he wants! his favorite spot is next to his open cage in the front room where he can see the front door, and usually when I wake up in the Morning, I have a paw or a snout in my face....

But I do have a concern: When we purchased Kuma he was 8 weeks old, then my partner left back home ( long distance relationship ) and now after a year and 1/2 is coming back for a visit ... I'm not sure my partner will be sleeping with me ... Dogs are very territorial and possessive so, It might be the floor for my partner . How can I get Kuma to accept this?
