Spaying a cat

I am trying to find a clinic to spay my cat, some of them tell me that my cat must stay at the clinic for one to two nights, and others tell me that I can take it back the same day.

Which way is better, cause I would like to take my cat back the same day, but I am affraid that something may go wrong and I won't be able to help her.

spaying..

hi I volunteer at a shelter and most time the females have to stay over night..unlike a male nuetering females have a little major surgery...they have to go in and take out the ovaries...with males they only have to take out the you know whats.
The females have incissions and need stiches and its always in the kitties best interest to stay over night just in case.
Males use to stay over night too..but now they just glue them closed.
so please let her stay over night at least..its safest and best..

When a cat is spayed, they usually keep them overnight so they can monitor and even NM cats stayed over night. That what they do at my shelter, they keep them overnight. You should let them keep her overnight, it is safer on the cat and of course you would have to bring her back to get the stitches out when it is 10 days.
