posinous trees,shurbs and plants???
I am looking for ideas - I want to plant a miniature or small shade tree in my yard as the old tree died and we had to cut it down. Now it is all sun and no shade. I have two small dogs who like to pick up and eat everything they come across in the yard. Any Ideas on a safe tree to plant, I am looking for something easy, low-maintenance, preferably miniature and not messy. I am also wondering about a red Japanese miniature maple for some fall color. I *love* fall color.
Any ideas? P.s I could not find a topic on this subject any place I should be looking??? |

I think a Japenese Maple would look lovely.
Your local nursary can also help you select something that will work well in the space and meet your needs - especially if you bring them in a photo. Once you've selected a couple different options that you like, just take a look over the websites that Marcha listed, and make sure they're not on the list.
