Grace playing Keep-The-Ball-Away-From Lili (pics from 1-24-19)
I'm behind in my pics and she's growing so fast! Here are some pictures of Grace 'playing' with little Lili. They don't really play much. Mainly 'play' consists of Grace tormenting Lili by playing keep-away with a toy favored by both.
 The rest of the time, Grace is trying to avoid the dreaded Blue Lili Landshark by doing the keep-away-from-the-landshark-mouth dance, pirouetting, leaping, and running full speed toward the door to escape!  But it's a little step, anyway, and at least they're interacting.

She's honing her 'escape from the Blue Lili landshark' skills! She figures if she can stay out of reach when Lili is really focused on her, she can escape Lili anywhere, any time!

She does! But Grace is still pretty leery of those pesky teeth. I'm noticing just a small amount of thaw, but mostly the dancing is to avoid Lili instead of to interact with her.
 One of these days, though, they're going to get into some real play and they'll finally hit it off

Oh my! They look like little Seesta's and so adorable together! It also looks like Lili Landshark will soon worship the ground Grace walks on.

She already worships the ground Grace walks on--but then puppyhood gets the better of her and Lili Landshark takes over again!
This morning, they almost had a breakthrough, though--if Lili hadn't lost her head when Grace was about to play with her, they would have been friends then and there, I think.
