ooh what a treat! i've never seen a leg of deer at the butchers and i don't know any hunters... Rosco is SO lucky! looks like he haaaated that

he's looking bigger and more gorgeous every day, if that's possible

He loved it! I did take it away once he got most of the meat off the bones. I'm not keen on hard (wreak) bones.

He really loves deer meat. And he has klots to eat! My uncle dropped off a big garbage bag full of deer meat the other day he had from last year in his freezer. Already portioned out into ziplock bags. Nice score!

scott if only you didn't live so far... i would ambush and kidnap your freezer! actually we are planning to drive to NS one summer soon with the beanies, to tour and spend a week of summer vacation... i only went once and it was too fast and it with the wrong person (he wrecked my holidays the basturd!). So i want to do it again, this time the right way I'll probably ping you for some advice on the best places to visit

lol..I actually got a 2nd freezer for the pup! With the recent deer meat, its now spilled over into our freezer! I think I'm going to make the small freezer ours and give the larger to the dog!

Sure, I can recomend a few places!

same here... the big freezer belongs to the dogs and the small one is for "human food"

i dream of NS rocky wild beaches and the smell of the ocean...
