Sleepiness, refusal of treats
Hi, i'm new to these forums. I have a female cat (Bailey) age 14. She is extremely healthy (8 pounds) and very active. It is a normal tendency in the summertime for her to stay outside 24/7 except for food, and she has done that all summer, except for the past two days. She is now sleeping inside, she wont even move unless she wants food. Also i dont know if this is a bad thing but she will refuse cream and milk, and cat treats make her throw up. She is also fed 2 cans of cat food a day and she happily eats these, and she is fed cat crunch things but she is not the fondest of these.
Okay, so i gave alot of unnessecary detail and these symptoms are a little normal, but I guess you can call me one of those obsessed cat lovers who worries too much, i know i am, i adore my cat! All help appriciated, moeburn |

Hi Moeburn,
Could be lotsa stuff like she has an upset stomach,,,,ate something outside that she shouldn't of. OR it's just too darn hot....and she prefers the coolness indoors. OR she suffered an injury....check her whole body out gently with your hands and she if she reacts badly. Either way if her behaviour remains abnormal for much longer you should have her see a vet. Good luck Hillary |
