Black Lab/Boxer Mix Lost in Toronto

Hello... We have lost our dog Jagger. He was recently rescued from a shelter and is very timid. Jagger got spooked while on a walk and slipped out of his collar. He went missing on Sept. 16 in the Major Mac and Keele area of Toronto. He is not familiar with any surroundings in that area as we were visiting family. He is all black, about 40 lbs, and is a Lab/boxer mix, up to date on all shots and is micro-chipped. If anyone has any information PLEASE contact me at 416-918-7225 anytime or animal control, do not try to catch him as he is scarred of humans esp. males. Thank you we miss him very much.

Have you checked with the Kennel Inn in Aurora, they handle animal control for in and around that area. Good Luck in finding your boy, he looks so handsome.

Do you have the web site for the Toronto Pound sites
www.petharbor.com I have found this site so helpful...you can see who they pick up right away without making a lot of calls and going there.
Good Luck

This dog is still missing. He has a very noticeable marking on his tongue.
I spoke to the lady as I thought it could have been the dog I found but wasn't.

I was looking at the THS website this morning, seems that Jaggar has gone missing again. I thought that leash free dog parks were gated. Is that not always the case?

I don't think I'd feel good about that dog being leash free anywhere since he appears to be so easily spooked.

Jagger Found!

I can't believe it but Jagger was found today after 3 weeks missing. He is home safe and sound! This dog is very lucky to have been found twice! We are waiting to find out who reported him to animal control so we can extend our deepest gratitude. Thank You.

Soulmanplease try to keep him on a leash if a dogpark is not fully secure
I bought a 15 foot leash for the Cocker I walk every day, gives her a little more freedom to move.

Soulman what great news! You may want to consider putting 2 collars on him in case he gets out of one! Especially if he gets spooked easy...I wouldnt even try a leash free park at this stage until he is more settled.
