4 yr old lab throwing up

We woke up this morning to notice that our 4 year old yellow lab had gotten sick during the night, nothing unusual as this has happened before. However when I returned to work about 8 hours later, he got sick again, throwing up nothing but water. Over the next 3 hours he continually drank water (lots) and threw up the water shortly after (about 15-20 minutes), this happened about 3 times during the 3 hours., he won't eat a thing (very unusual for him). Basically just looks like he has a stomach virus, but I'm still concerned, should I be? What should I do? wait 24 hours and see if it goes away? Other than that he seems fine although I would say he is a little lathargic. How long should I let this go on before I get really concerned.

Do dogs get the 24hrs flu?

Thanks for any help.
